ABSTRACT MARIANA TIO RINA HUTAURUK, NIM 2009-01-011: Effect Effective Working Hours, Employee Costs and 5S Implementation with Level of Product Damage and Employee Productivity at PT. Hotmal Jaya Perkasa Tangerang. Major advisor : Sunar Abdul PT. Tangerang Hotmal Jaya Perkasa is a company engaged in the field of metal plating business. In management there is a problem of product the damage and productivity fluctuate. Based on data about damage product start from the month of Mei 2008 to Desember 2010 that the Level of Product Damage occurred between the period of highest mei 2008 to mei 2009. from June 2009 to Desember 2010 levels Decreased Product Damage. The data showed that level of product damage rate increase before 5S Implementation. For productivity data is very volatile in the period May 2008 to Desember 2010. The above data shows that the damage to the product is still relatively high and relatively low productivity. The purpose of this study was to describe, analyze and determine the effect of the most dominant of the Effective Working Hours, Employee Costs and Implementation of 5S with Level of Product Damage and Employee Productivity in PT. Hotmal Jaya Perkasa Tangerang. Data used in this research is data from number of employees, employee attendance reports, salary data, product damage data and data production capacity of PT. Hotmal Jaya Perkasa Tangerang. Data collection techniques using regression analysis, determination coefficient and descriptive analysis. The processing of application data using SPSS software Version 1600. Based on the results of analysis there was a positive and significant influence between variable application of 5S Implementation with employee productivity , the Effective Working Hours was a negative and significant influence Employee Costs is significant negative but not influence to the product damage.
